Chipotle is coming to the old Tacos 4 Life space on S.E. 29th Street. This will definitely be some competition for Qdoba.

There's currently a 14.5-mile span north to south with no Chipotles, between the one in Moore and the one on NW Expressway... meanwhile, there are five Qdobas in that span (MWC, Yukon, Mustang, Westgate Marketplace, 104th and Penn).
Really wish a Chipotle, Qdoba, Cava, etc. would come to Midtown/downtown. There need to be more fast casual options in that area for those who work in the area, but don’t want to break the bank at a fancy restaurant for lunch.
My GF has an obsession with Chipotle haha. Living in MWC, She is always complaining about how far away we have to go for it.
As long as Chiptole can figure out their suppliers to stop their ecoli and salmonela outbreaks. LOL
That happens with vegetables because the farmers are not providing the right services to their pickers. They're required by law to have bathroom facilities mobile enough for the pickers to reasonably walk to them. The farmers cheapen out and don't provide that so the pickers have to go in the fields. Human waste should not be present near food....period. Chiptole isn't directly responsible for that, but they do have the requirement to put pressure on their suppliers to treat their people correctly and then also ensure that their food products are washed appropriately to prevent contamination.
Obviously it isn't happening every day with them, but it did happen a number of times within a fairly short span of time. They must have cleaned up their game and fix this, rightly so.
And here's a tip, just have them do "no rice". Then they won't fill it all up with that filler that just takes up room in there.
