Moore Is Texas Roadhouse on I240-I35 Moving to Moore?

I am hearing from a couple neighbors that the Texas Roadhouse on I240 and I35 is Moving to Moore? Not sure if it is true or not. I know crime in the area is a big deal. not to mention the plans for the I240-I35 looks like it would shave the building off.

Rumor is that it will relocate to the area where the Moore bowling alley used to be, North of Warren Theatre.

even though this location is practically isolated, it somehow manages to be absolutely packed on the weekends.

It makes total sense they would want to move away from that area. They don't want to rely solely on customers coming to them. Of course, they could play the long game and hope Crossroads get redeveloped.

It always seems packed there, so people must see it more as a destination

We like Texas Roadhouse but will not wait on it so we don’t go as they always seem to be on a wait. They could probably add another one and still keep 240 open.

We go to the one on 3rd st a lot and if you get there around 4:30 you almost always get seated immediately. And by the time we leave there are always people waiting. Monday thru Thursday they have their early bird specials until 5:30.

It’s interesting how these rumors get started. Asked a city staffer and they said they haven’t heard anything. Not to say it won’t eventually happen but they haven’t even begun the steps with the city yet.

Fwiw I believe they’d likely be located on the service road in between the mattress store and Toby Keith’s. Initially when Warren opened the plan was to have that area fitted with sit down restaurants. Plus the same llc owns all that land there.

The only other available land in the vicinity would be north of Lowe’s/south of Fort Thunder.
