I'm prejudiced of course. But we're very simple people. We have a basic shopping list every week plus a handful of additional things for that trip. I don't compare item to item but overall if we go to Crest, WM Neighborhood Market or Homeland the total is within a couple dollars either way.

Of course it is always dependent on what and how many items you buy, but I have found that non-sale items are priced a couple of dollars higher per item, so it can add up quickly. Most recently, I needed a pre-made party tray (not made fresh in deli, but pre-packaged from a national brand). Crest had the item for $9.99, the same item and size at Homeland was $18.99.
