Stillwater leaders still need to work harder and smarter to attract industry in Stillwater. The no. 1 problem about life in Stillwater is the lack of decent paying jobs. The fact that Big Lots is closing, and Red Lobster had to close helps reflect just how true that is.

Still no sign of the magnet factory finally opening. So, it's questionable if the Armstrong plant is really solidly on track to reopen. Also, no sign of the new hotel near Eskimo Joe's starting. At least the Hub is one major new thing definitely started and on its way. But it will be interesting to see it makes AMC close.

Red Lobster is probably more related to it's former corporate parent sacrificing the entire companies long term health to show better profits in it's operations as a sea food supplier. Along with other management decisions which sacrificed long term viability of the chain, to make numbers look better short term, leading the entire chain into bankruptcy. Hundreds of them have been closed in the last year.
