    It's the first time I've seen BOK use more than one color; 98% of the time the lights are just solid white.

    Im happy the lights are on, but I think the vertical fin lighting was much better. To me they were more complete, rather than the gaps we will have going forward with the horizontal.

    Too bad they couldn't figure out a way to have the lighting spill up and down to "cover" the gaps. That would have been awesome, but alas -

    the fin lights were more complete except for the gaps left by all the broken ones that never worked consistently. The new ones are also much brighter.

    Its a good lesson for the cladding designers. Make the lighting on the cladding easier to remove and upgrade, because the tech in the cladding isn't going to last the life of the cladding. In this case, it was bad from day 1.

    Yeah, it is stunning if the design actually did not have a plan for the bulbs changed somewhat easily, and the entire lighting fixture replaced at some point in future, especially if had any embedded computer chips. Which tend to have 3-5 year design life.
