I think the red is just jarring. But that is also because most cars today are black, white, or gray/silver. I think I actually saw some recent stat that said more than 80% of cars on the road today are variations of these 3 colors.

The used car salesman sold me on my black car when he pointed out the color turns dark blue where the sun shines directly on it. But can't be sold a gray car no matter how the sun shines on it.
