Norman councilman Stephen Tyler Holman commented on Norman Development’s post about this development. He said, “This will be the 5th new building constructed on West Lindsey since the street project finished. At least 2 more new buildings are coming. There were 0 new buildings built on West Lindsey during the 10 years before the street project. It’s also important to note that the occupancy rate for storefronts on West Lindsey is over 90% currently.”
It'll take time but I think they will continue to renovate or build new ones on Lindsey. There are still some very serious eye sores.
I thought I saw this elsewhere on OKCTalk, but couldn't find anything...there are plans to build retail on the parcel at 1300 West Lindsey. That's where the house is set off of Lindsey to the south. Originally a part of Berry Farms. I believe the plans are for the house to be retained as an office building.
They are installing a roundabout on Flood Street near the Robinson intersection. I can’t figure out why.
They are extending James Garner north including an overpass over Robinson and it will end at the roundabout. Perfect place for a roundabout.
It appears activity has finally picked back up at the new Press and Plow location after months of dormancy.
HTeaO is also nearly complete on the outside and sign is up. Good things to get done before the Fall.
