I moved posts related to a recent opinion piece in the Oklahoman about a new development proposed for the Paseo area here:

They are cutting the ribbon on the Paseo streetscape improvements on May 10th.

They wanted to be finished before the Paseo Arts Festival over Memorial Day weekend.

I believe they still have landscaping to do, but all the big stuff is substantially completed. It's a huge improvement... I'll take some photos soon.

They've been working on the finishing touches even past midnight at some times. New pavement and striping really does make everything looks so much nicer.

Now to wait for Walker Ave

Anyone know if they've reinstalled the bike racks that got removed for the construction?

I drove through today and the plantings look fabulous. I'm not sure if what is there is all that will be there but the trees were not tiny.
