The townhomes south of Fretz on 2nd have been around since I believe 2008? Aside from the rooftop patios and no stoops they are what I would call “Brooklyn” style.





If you look at the drone pics from Pete on the apartment development, you can see this one in the SW portion of downtown Edmond.

Another thing I noticed was the sale of this piece of land is pending:

Since I canÂ’t check county records unless sold, makes me really wonder what this is going to be.

The site to the west of the townhomes is under construction to be more housing units similar to the ones west of that lot as well, as far as I know.

The single unit new builds in the neighborhoods sprinkled from NW of 2nd/Fretz all the way west to Kelly that look like houses from the Wheeler district seem to have either slowed, or theyÂ’re selling them by plot of land first rather than post construction as the others.

Since we walk to all our downtown resources, we also utilize the park thatÂ’s being renovated across from the jazz lab, which I noticed now has a small amphitheater style stage. With Heard on Hurd having bands monthly, they have to set up the stage on the empty lot that they do. I wish they would have built something similar there as HoH is a huge success just having surpassed their decade anniversary last summer.
