RFP for New Ambulance Service

Looks like the lease for the old Fire Station 2 has been finalized as several of the Ambulances have been relocated there from the Fire Training Center. With that, seems EFD's target of a Dec. 1st launch date is holding.

That makes sense! I saw an ambulance with AMR colors but not AMR markings leave OnCue and turn into the old Fire Station drive a couple days ago... the driver was in a t-shirt and the name on the side was oddly generic, so I was confused. I didn't realize that Edmond Electric had moved out of the station.

Negative to the new service is the outlying areas (Deer Creek, north Edmond/South Guthrie) not within city limits of OKC, Edmond and Guthrie are not covered by this new service. Deer Creek and Oak Cliff sent out a notice in December: https://dcfire.org/urgent-accounceme...west-oklahoma/
