Every season, all the years. Just curious, and impressed with its consistent nature.

Maybe due to Chesapeake watering and runoff?

At work and not feeling like actually working so just browsing old threads.

I drive by here occasionally and this thread piqued my interest. in looking at current and older sat imagery it appears the water is coming from the Oklahoma City Ballet lot/building. As well as looking at the historical streetview you can see the water is always originating from here. In fact in the dec 2015 photo you can see the water would get stuck by the stop sign so the city came in and put some better drainage.

Its against city code to discharge water into city streets. The water must be the runoff from watering the grass and since the whole lot slopes to the southeast this is where the water goes.

Or maybe there are other problems more related to the water lines in the area. Because Shartel north of NW 63rd also always has water but that does look like a leaking sprinkler line.

NW 50th just east of Western is the same way (eastbound lanes). So frustrating.

Looks like some sort of water leak in front of 844 NW 50th for that one. if you look at the curb near the flashing school speed zone sign you can see how the water is slowly seeping over the curb into the gutter. You can also see some water seeping from the ground on the other side of Francis Ave.

That’s kinda my thinking as well, Jose, re Ok Ballet. However, just north is a short downhill to the north and it often has water as well. Hunch says it’s a natural spring.

There was a similar runoff issue west of Piedmont Rd on NW Expressway. Water would often run from the flower beds at the entrance to a neighborhood, along the shoulder on NW Expressway and pond at a low spot. It was bad enough that it would often cover the outside lane. I ended up submitting a ticket on the OKC action center website and it got fixed within a week or two.
