we found out the hard way yesterday that brielle's on meridian had closed... the sign now says something like "baller's bar and grill" and it looks like they may still be reworking the interior.

They seem to still be open - updates from 1 day ago on FB (which is for Brielle's 2 Geaux) saying they were closed for renovations, and a reply to a Yelp review from about a day ago too.
interesting... when we went yesterday, there were two cars in the parking lot, but a couple of removed booths sitting out by the front door. the sign has definitely been changed out with the name "baller's"
There are two addresses listed - 2037 S Meridian and 2113 S Air Depot. In their comment on Yelp (I think) they said they moved back to MWC recently, so maybe they're on Air Depot now.
Pretty sure it had been struggling for awhile, they are a mom & pop operation. Hopefully the other location is doing well, it's a really tough business.
They've been closed "until further notice" since Tuesday, Oct. 17.
The move, name change to "2 Geaux", opening the restaurant in MWC then closing less than two months later (though they're still taking catering and Thanksgiving orders)... it all seems a little bizarre.
For what it's worth: On October 20th, they posted on their Facebook page that they were closed until further notice. In a follow-up post, they say they are closed for renovations but that they are going to reopen. So hopefully things work out and they do reopen. Maybe an issue arose that affected the dining area but won't impact the kitchen's ability to fulfill catering/Thanksgiving orders? Their Facebook page is light on details.
Saw in today's real estate wrap up that Brielles Bistro has signed a lease in Del City at 501 Main Street Suite 102
