All Lanes on N. Perkins Rd. in Stillwater Open by End of August

Except for finishing touches, such as to sidewalks and landscaping, N. Perkins Rd. construction to add a left turn lane will finally be ready to open at the end of August to avoid fines, due to delays. This in time for OSU's first home football game. However, reconstruction remains ongoing for two important bridges. The one on N. Husband St. is scheduled to reopen on Sept. 15. The one on E. 3rd to be ready Nov. 1. Lots of people were using those two bridges as much as daily, so it will be nice to see them reopen. It's amazing how long it takes to build a bridge over just a creek.

Four out of five lanes open on N. Perkins Rd. as of Tuesday. Left turn lane still closed. New traffic lights not yet operational. E. McElroy approaches still down to two lanes. Lots of final finishing up still left to do.
