I hope it is a joke, we do not need another cannabis store since it is on every street and every corner everywhere!

Yeah, the number of stores in the metro already seems unsustainable, they are getting on par with gas stations as far as density of locations in multiple parts of the metro. It would be surprising if there is not eventually contraction, we already have among the highest amount of stores per 100,000 customers in the country, at 48.7 per 100,000. What can a hub of that many stores do to distinguish themselves, when most people can get cannabis around a mile or less from their house, often in multiple directions.
In the case of that ad. 5 or 6 of those tenants is literally the same company(Chronic Brands) ran by the same husband and wife team that is operating the convention center. They are just padding everything to make the ad look better. Chronic Palooza is not even a tenant, its an event.
So how is this going to work with the school there?? It seems like the best option is for the whole thing to be sold for redevelopment. Move the school to a better location and then tear the place down. With that said then zone it for industrial use. It will bring in jobs. With jobs then small business can come to the area such as cafes and breakfast places. end of rant.
I know it's been said before, but if at least some of this property is not used for transit-oriented development around a stop on the proposed Norman-OKC-Edmond commuter line, it will be a massively wasted opportunity. I hope *someone* with the pockets and the gumption to actually do something of value here is keeping something like this in mind.
