Thread: 50 Penn. any place to eat?

  1. Default 50 Penn. any place to eat?

I work in 50 Penn (1900 NW Expressway St Oklahoma City, OK 73118) building are there any place to eat except fast food, and the restaurant on ground and 3rd floor?

I've sampled the Elephant Bar across the Expressway. It's not a world-beater, but it's a couple of orders of magnitude less bland than the Olive Garden.

I work at 50 Penn as well. I enjoy the sushi place on the third floor, next to the Urban Market, which also has a nice salad and sandwich selection. The Saffron Grill on the first floor makes a really mean tuna sandwich, and they have a decent salad and soup buffet too.

Isn't Belle Isle Brewery in there? I seem to recall decent appetizers and above average beer in there.

Try their pork sandwich, cheeseburger, or tuna salad ... Those are usually my favs at the Saffron. Actually, I think I might run down and get one. Yummy. Belle Isle Brewery also makes a few decent menu items.

The "I Love Sushi" place is delightful. It's tiny (seats 3 inside and 4 outside) and is really reasonable for sushi. I got the special which was one of 3 'chef's choice' rolls, a California roll, and miso soup for $7.50. The owner/chef's name is Tokky, and he's delightful as well. Check it out if you like sushi.
