I used to watch OETA a lot as a child. Who can forget Sesame Street and Mr. Rogers. What is your favorite program on OETA and why?

Personally, I think Sesame Street is probably the all time best children's program on PBS. Although it's not a substitute for a proper education, it does provide a lot of quality educational information for young children.
And the number for today is......??? 14

Mr. Rogers, all the way!
Mr. Rogers could put a round in you from 500 yards....he's cool!

Hum. I guess it is pretty much the same so far.
"Mr. Rogers Neighborhood." Why? He was a clean, moral man who taught children good, wholesome values.:respect:
We used to watch Lamb Chops a lot. Can anyone remember who was the star of that show?
No idea. Also, I guess this thread just provves the deseased gain the most fame. He always was a moral, decent, and respectable man though.
The late Shari Lewis. She and the "kids" were among my favorites when I was little. Plus Soupy Sales.Originally Posted by Patrick

Sesame Street, Electric Company, and Captain Kangaroo. In our office, sometimes we'll start the "song that never ends" people then can't get it out of their heads.

That was Shari's plan. To make people think. She was a good educator and entertainer. Plus, even when she died, a mighty nice looking lady.
Whoa! Was that a pic of Dr. Joyce there? LOL!
Below Mr. Rogers. (lol)Originally Posted by Sooner&RiceGrad
