Vegas is so weird development wise. Right across the strip from the massive Cosmo/Aria/Waldorf complex they are building low-rise commercial instead of another Casino or resort like you'd expect. Should be nice, but you wonder why they aren't building more towers on the several high profile open spots on the strip. Still seems to be plenty of demand for more rooms! I stayed at the Mirage (wanted to see it before the conversion) and it was booked solid this weekend.
Strip can't adsorb that much that fast. Fountaienbleu coming up later this year too on the heels of resorts world.
