I drive past here coming home from work most evenings. Sounds like it was a violent weekend in the city, even if not including this
What could go wrong with nearly everyone in this state walking around with guns?
I just read that the police are saying it was two rival biker clubs. I'm always uncomfortable if I'm somewhere and guys from club A are there and then a group from club B or C come strolling in. I make sure I stay paid up and can make a quick exit.
Whiskey Barrel Saloon doesn’t *feel* like a rough place, though the area around it does. I rent a warehouse nearby and have grabbed lunch there several times. It was recently used as a set for Tulsa King (in fact I was told that the production company even OWNED the place during filming…it had been closed during COVID).
But there IS a rough-looking little bar called the Runaway Club maybe 150 yards to the west where I’ve often seen 1% guys coming, going, organizing for rides and such. It would make sense that they migrate back and forth between there and Whiskey Barrel Saloon.
If you see a lot of bikers somewhere alcohol is flowing wearing 1% jacket/shirt, headwear, leave.
I was in BACA for a while. Since their in the same events as the 1% clubs you get lessons on how to act around them to not disrespect them. That would be bad. They also have a lot of special rules. For instance. I was in the South Twin Peaks one afternoon. The Bandidos chapter president was there with a group. When he goes to the bathroom two members go first and bar anyone from going in until it's empty and then it stays empty except for the president until he's done. Very weird.
