They are going to have the nicest stadium of any team.
You bet. Much will depend on the ticket sales. As to whether they will need the outfield bleachers, who knows what the configuration
will be.
2023 - Thursday, June 1, is the opening of the Women's College World Series with the Championship - Thursday/Friday, June 8/9.
WPF will be headquartered in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma, with teams playing nationwide. The league is aiming for six to eight teams for its inaugural season.
BTW OKC has a women’s football team that won a championship in their league! Who knew?! I remember the OKC Dolls football team back in the day.

The name reminds me of the Los Angeles Sparks, I am not a fan of the name
It was a Chevrolet "Spark" that was the vehicle carrying the six Tishomingo high school girls that was involved in the fatal wreck with a Peterbilt tractor-trailer back in March 2022.
I thought this thread was going to be about the new NAHL team we’re getting.
That'd be here: https://www.okctalk.com/showthread.php?t=46868
But the NAHL isn't professional level, just Tier-II junior.

Jocelyn Alo Traded to OKC Spark
Oklahoma City, OK — Smash It Sports Viper’s outfielder Jocelyn Alo is headed to OKC Spark in exchange for draft picks and cash considerations.

I am intrigued !
Softball has been more and more entertaining at the college level so let s see at the pro level.
Game must be two hours at the most, also a good point in my book.
Lightning would have been a better name to go along with our Thunder.
I love college softball. I make almost every Sooners home game, regional games if they're in Norman and WCWS Sooners games. I'm going to go watch a number of these pro games. I hope they're as fun as college.
Oklahoma City, the RENAISSANCE CITY!
