Everything on the west side of 74/Portland and between NW 164th and NW 150th is part of the Lone Oak development.

Mostly homes but I suspect there will be commercial development on the NW corner of 150th & Portland at a future date, but thus far no building permits.

Nothing planned there as of yet.

It's still zoned industrial, so they would have to submit rezoning plans for housing or commercial.

My hope for this road is that, as development spreads north, first of all that it becomes an actual highway as it already is south of 150th, and also that it maintains a more upscale, corporate feel rather than reverting to tacky strip malls and gas stations as is the case on every other section line road.

It will be a freeway to at Waterloo and I'd imagine SH-33 one day as development sprawls to Cimarron River. There's virtually an unlimited amount of land to develop new houses on around OKC and we are very blessed to have that resource. Proper planning needs to be though to preserve ROW for future freeways, preferably Texas style with stack interchanges and service roads.
