I’ve noticed they have the power back now
There are no permits of any kind and the building hasn't sold, so not sure what is going on.
There's a lot of work being done on the building now. Any idea what it's becoming?
I was wondering with the new Paint job. Since we're on the subject of the West side of town. What's going on the land being developed in the Windsor Oaks neighborhood? Google maps shows the beginning of the development at NW 24th and North Moulton Drive. Since then a nice privacy fence has been installed and a security gate with keypad.

Took this Sunday:
Taken today (Sunday):
Do you know what's going on at the Old Walmart on 2301 N MacArthur Blvd? It's got a new paint and there's always cars in the parking lot?
It's Bakery Bling:

They're making crazy progress on the exterior here. This should be a real shot in the arm for the neighborhood.
Looks like they are getting close:
I haven't checked out their progress as of late thanks to the extensive and ongoing clusterf*ck of road work that's making MacArthur intolerable, but last time I did look it appeared they'd not gone much/any further than the above photo.
^
They have been working inside.
I'll go by sometime soon and try and get some photos of the interior.
I went by there Sunday and meant to post that they still aren't open.
Hopefully that means they are doing a lot of work inside.
. . the North side of that building screams for a mural. . . wonder if the taggers might leave it alone. . .
They are finally close to opening.

Can't wait! That little store on Meridian makes me claustrophobic.
This store is a sign of Bethany and Warr Acre's increasing Latino population. Won't be long until they are majority Latino. Once the southside really gets revitalized/gentrified lower income Latinos will relocate there.
It looks like they cut that building in two and the northern section will be an event center.
^they did something similar when they renovated the warehouse market grocery at sw 59th and santa fe. since that property sits on a corner, they were able to have the grocery store front 59th and the event center front santa fe.
This Supermercado Morelos store had their grand opening this morning, the company's 10th store in Oklahoma. These are great stores for produce, fresh meat and spices.
