I've noticed that Taqueria Sanchez appears to be closed. Does anyone know any details?

Drove by today and they’re still closed. I’m praying they’re just taking a vacation.

Their Facebook page doesn't give any additional information, unfortunately - only that they had to abruptly close both of their trucks at the same time at the end of July:

Yes! They are back! I ate there last night! They said they had to shutdown for some repairs.

If you find yourself again paralzyed by the fear of Taqueria Sanchez closing and not reopening, I'd recommend giving La Pinata at around 3rd and MacArthur a shot. When I'm in need of taco truck fare, that's my regular. Their asada burritos are incredible; they have this creamy sauce that's almost like a tzatziki. Not sure what it's called, but it's top tier.
