SW 104th & May, NW corner

Good evening! My parents live in South Harbor neighborhood at S. May and 102nd. They received this letter letting them know that buildings were being built on the nearby corner. Would anyone happen to know what they could be building?

I'd like to see a developer come up with a master plan of sorts for the east side of May/104th St. That's a large amount of acreage that's just waiting to be developed. Hopefully something more than just another subdivision though.

It's owned by Blanton Property Company.

They mainly build retail strip centers; in fact they built and own the strip center just to the south with Pub W.

The notice is just for rezoning; they haven't filed any building permits as of yet.

Crews are clearing out trees here, so they might be getting ready to develop something on this plot of land.

there are building permits (but i couldn't find plans) for the lot just east of the church for an ou urgent care and emergency room. if i remember correctly, the structure was going to be around 10k square feet.

i was thinking of the lot just west of the nw corner of 104th may. i hear that some trees are being cleared over there. my understanding is that the strip center with neighborhood jam will be on the ne corner.

Can confirm that the field is being cleared out. My parents sent me this photo from this morning.

On the northwest corner of SW 104th & May, the property has been platted for multiple lots.

The only building permit thus if far is for an OU Urgent Care facility on Lot #1.

I guess it was just impossible to save any mature trees on this lot? Hate to be a downer but I'm so sick of these big projects just wrecking the landscape for the sake of progress.

Honestly, I'm with you. Especially if it's going to be turned into a CBD shop, bank, or carwash. Now that it's done, hopefully, they will add in some good places. Has anyone happened to hear anything else planned for this corner?

They're starting to do some excavation work at the NW corner of SW 104th and May. This is in the area that was "tidied up" during the construction of the OU urgent care a couple years ago. Anything going on here?

Yep Chick-fil-a. This area has really gotten some good options lately.

The Fuzzy's just recently opened. Can't wait for the Firehouse as well.
