    Default Best Rueben in Metro?

    Who has it?

I'm going to say Kamp's -- the carmalized sweet onions put it over the top.

I'm a big Reuben fan, hard to say. Jason's Deli has a good one, so does the Lunch Box downtown. Which Wich in Norman is also pretty good.

Big fan here as well. I'll second Jason's Deli.

I've not had one, but I keep hearing that Ingrid's Kitchen at 36th (approx. 2 blocks west of Penn) has outstanding rueben's with freshly-made kraut and rye bread. As a German bakery, these are supposed to be as authentic as authentic can get around here.

I can certainly vouch that their pastries are up to snuff (hmmm - fresh apricot cream cheese squares).

might try SomePlace Else Deli (Western, just south of 23rd). Prices are great too!!

I liked the one I had at Caffé Pranzo. Best is kind of subjective.

Old School Bagel Cafe has a good one, although I usually get mine on a bagel instead of the marble rye (which is good, btw).

I think Jason's has the best. IMHO

    This'll probably raise some eyebrows...

    Schlotzsky's

They have one of the best reuben on ryes that I have ever had the fortune of eating.
The ingredients are pretty standard but the medley of saurkraut, pastrami, dressing and cheese just mixes together and its beyond delicious.

I'll grab a sandwich once a month or so since they do make it very hearty.

pastrami? A real reuben is made with Corned Beef although pastrami is not too far off and Schlotzsky's is good in my book.
