Building permit applications have been filed for the empty lot directly east of Up/Down Arcade Bar.

The project is called The District and the address is 1625 NW 16th.

Plans show 2 retail bays on the ground floor with the opportunity for patios in the back. The top 2 floors will each have (2) 2-bed apartments.

It seems that way, but I think this rendering is showing that the building will be set really close to the sidewalk. Parking will probably be in the back. The view looks like you would be standing across the street and that truck is technically traveling East on 16th.

I opened this up thinking it was going to be about the old Habana Inn. People will be in for a shock when you tell them you love at the District. (not that there is anything wrong with that)

The site plan I posted upthread shows there will be a small green area between the building and sidewalk.
