Thread: Neon Park

    Lincoln Area Neon Park

Oklahoma has established a commission to celebrate the centennial of Route 66 in 2026. It's headed by Lt. Governor Matt Pinnell who also oversees the Oklahoma Tourism and Recreation Department.

The Billboard Museum in OKC holds many iconic Route 66 signs and has been working with the Oklahoma History Center to create a “neon park” on part of the center's property. Everything is in preliminary/conceptual stages but the goal is to have this finished before the centennial.
