This hot week continues into the weekend. OKC nearing 100F, but probably just enough moisture in the air to prevent the actual 100 reading.

It looks like a nice little surprise ridge breakdown is in the cards early next week. Some storm chances and cooler temps Sun-Wed.

Then things start heating back up going into the first full weekend of August.

I'm currently in the Philly area, bad storm, most likely a confirmed tornado next county over. Wall to wall TV coverage and they actually are doing pretty good. No storm spotters here though. I'm getting blamed for bringing this with me. LOL

Slight chances of some showers and storms this weekend. Friday evening weak chance, mostly across N OK. Then again Saturday afternoon with best chances across E OK. No organized storms expected, but could be an isolated severe storm or two. Watch the radar if you have outdoor plans.

The big news will be high temperatures only reaching mid to upper 80s.
