The windows on the north side of the building are looking very nice. It's cool to be able to see all the way through the building to 13th Street from back there.

Are they leaving those vertical lines on the exterior of the brick exposed like that? Hope not.

Wow poor design for an otherwise amazing company. It would look so much better without them.

I have zero inside knowledge, and this is pure speculation, but I’m guessing the prior facade damaged the existing brickwork in such a way that the vertical boards are necessary to keep the brick in place.

The Hall's Pizza group is taking the old showroom for Harvey Bakery & Kitchen.

Considering how beautiful their space is in Midtown, this could turn out to be pretty fantastic:

The Harvey Bakery & Kitchen is a warm & comfortable neighborhood restaurant where you'll want to be morning, lunch, & afternoon. Unlike anything in OKC, we're bringing pastries, breakfast & lunch, coffee, & more in a beautifully curated space for you to enjoy from early morning to late afternoon.

You can see they are covering the facade with some sort of weathered metal panels:

I like how there's a cyclist approaching in the rendering but no bike racks in the rendering (hopefully there will be in reality)

I am thinking because of the curves in the building these panels had to be custom made and while we were lamenting the look of the refurb better things were planned all along

I have never walked 13th street before (only driven). I was absolutely blown away at all of the little projects in this area yesterday. Amazing area.
