Another day another multi billion dollar tech expansion for Austin
https://austin.culturemap.com/news/i...nrfIX44tO7320U
Good thing OK values education so much. 🙄
For real.
The space force just announced it chose Alabama for its HQ which Oklahoma getting it was a long shot but it’s so disheartening to see all these other places get these major projects and Oklahoma barely gets by with scraps.
Oklahoma was not a location that they ever considered ...
The six locations include Kirtland Air Force Base, New Mexico, Offutt AFB, Nebraska, Patrick AFB, Florida, Peterson AFB, Colorado, Port San Antonio, Texas, and Redstone Army Airfield, Alabama.
these are all home to space command assets ... which is why they were the 6 candidates
I understand that but Oklahoma does have an underutilized space port and the state should have tried something.

Okay you can stop now LOL!
Is there anywhere in Austin that is or will be developing a second skyline outside of downtown? Austin is just an incredible city. I believe Joe Rogan is considering ditching LA and moving to Austin with some of his celebrity friends. I am not sure if they will bring the Laugh Factory with them or start a new gig but it’s amazing to me how Austin is basically becoming LA 2.0.
