I've searched and can't find an answer. It wouldn't change the total a great deal but I'd like to be able to see the total number of Oklahoma residents that have been vaccinated.

As far as Walgreens/CVS I read an article, on one of the main news sites not social media, that said a new program was starting that will send vaccines to 6500 pharmacies soon. Haven't we been there done that and it didn't go well?

Myth #6 is a bit misleading now... of course, you have to wait for the vaccine to take effect, but some research is emerging that suggests that vaccinated people may be far less likely to spread COVID too. Very good news.

I just made my booster shot appointment for next Thursday, exactly 28 days after first shot of Moderna.

Awesome, I'm glad to hear that the second shot signups are hitting the timeframes they need to.

My daughter got hers scheduled and a day early on Moderna at that. I guess technically you can take the Moderna Booster after 24 days but I waited until 28.

I received my shot at 9:05 this morning (2-03-2021) and after 11 1/2 hours, no soreness.

I woke up about 3:00 this morning to go to the bathroom and my arm was sore. Not bad, less than the shingles shot or a tetanus shot. I'm just thrilled to get the vaccination. Our booster is scheduled for March 2nd.

J&J has officially asked for emergency approval. Looks like they meet in the next few weeks to approve it.

I am not sure their amount of production but another vaccine is only going to help. I have heard they have 10 million doses ready to go. Might be a while until they ramp up.

Novamax vaccine is expected to apply in April after the US trial is over.

Another thing I can't seem to find.
    How many cases of:
    1) Number of infections total after both injections + 2 week period
    2) Number of infections total after both injections + 2 week period verified as being the recent variants
It seems like a no brainer to me that both of these data sets would be recorded and researched.

Not exactly what you are looking for, but I found this for Moderna. It tracks incidence rate instead of raw number of infections. Seems to have a sharp effect of slowing reported incidences in its tracks after about 14 days into the first dose.

That is a start. Assuming that current post vaccine data will naturally include variants whether identified or not.

Well, today I didn't feel any soreness so for me, it lasted for about 1 1/2 days. I will post my feeling on my booster which is scheduled for March 3rd (previously the 2nd but found out today they move it to the 3rd).

Here's the most important COVID chart I've seen.

In all the trials, there were zero hospitalizations or deaths from COVID or the vaccines. Share that with anyone worried about the safety of vaccines.

Sadly, it won't convince a lot of people (likely a subset of the ones that still think the election is stolen, along with other random idiots), but yes, great info, thanks.

    Few updates from today.

It looks like the mega-pods from the feds do not included a federal allotment at this time so Oklahoma is not ramping that up right now.

    583k doses administered.

J&J vaccine is expected to be ready the week of it being approved. We will see those go into arms the following week after approval.

The pharmacy program is starting soon. People will be able to get vaccinated at Walmart shortly. Keep an eye out for that.

I think we are on the cusp of even more ramping up of vaccinations!

Yeah a recurring theme emerging is that April will be the month where vaccine supply begins to outstrip demand, where the focus shifts from getting vaccines to people to want them to getting people to go get one of the many shots available. I'm hoping that by Easter I'll at least have my first shot.

I am thinking April as well. We are about to move to one of the biggest groups in teachers and teaching staff for K-12. That is close to one million people so I do expect that to take a little while. But supply is steadily increasing.

Feb 12th you can now sign up for the vaccine at various Walmart and Sams Club across Oklahoma. The list here: https://twitter.com/KOCODillon/statu...105433090?s=20

IMMY Labs has been at the Embassy Suites Conference Center in Norman administering vaccines with their large pods. They did 3700 on Friday and 3000 today. They opened up appointments to people 18+ with comorbidities with permission from the OSDH for today only. Apparently there were several cancellations due to the weather and they did not want vaccines to go to waste.

I'm only 34, but I am an asthmatic and was deemed to be in Phase 2 through the OSDH. I was lucky to get an IMMY appointment for 1pm today. I was out of there by 1:15pm. There had to be 200-300 others there. I've never seen anything run to efficiently in my life. Amazing work they're doing between the vaccine pods and testing.

I highly suggest those who are 18+ with comorbidities to follow IMMY's Twitter as that's how I was able to find out the availability beyond the current phase and to schedule my appointment. It's likely you'll get a slot with them before you get one through the state's portal, especially if there are cancellations.

Also you can go there and ask to be put on the "standby list" and if they have any vaccines left over after all the appointments they will give them to you. Just be sure to get there early to register and a greater chance of being at the front of the list. They called everyone's name to form a line when it was time to give the vaccines. Obviously if you meet current phase criteria they will bump you up so you can get one. That is how I and multiple family members of mine got their vaccine. They really do run it impressively efficient.

So you need to go to their POD site to get on the standby list? And then they will call later in day if they have available?

Yes go to the POD site and they will register you on the list and you will get a confirmation email/text of the time that you need to come back (That was how it worked for me).

Is the standby list for the current day only?? Or will they call you the next available dose any future day?
