Infowars...
He's out of touch to what is going on. I've never heard of just another bad flu season overwhelming hospitals all across the country. Him calling the virus the greatest hoax is professionally crude. The Great Barrington Declaration he supports, which mainly advocates herd immunity, does have its critics. But you'll find experts don't always have the same opinion.
“In our worst year of the flu, we had 48 flu admissions and three flu deaths” at Stillwater Medical. “In 2020, we’ve seen over 160 covid admissions and nine deaths.” Denise Webber, President and CEO of Stillwater Medical Center
Posting such misinformational propaganda should be grounds for a ban at this point.
If masks were actually effective at stopping the spread of contagions, then it should be a requirement like the handwashing, proper food preparation, etc. mentioned in your clip. But since they aren't, it shouldn't be. And my reasoning doesn't come from memes or internet videos, but a study by Danish scientists. Read it for yourself and learn the real facts, instead of just blindly following what our officials tell us.

“ The findings, however, should not be used to conclude that a recommendation for everyone to wear masks in the community would not be effective in reducing SARS-CoV-2 infections, because the trial did not test the role of masks in source control (transmission from an infected person to others) of SARS-CoV-2 infection. ”
Seems like a pretty limited and inconclusive result.
Medical experts who oppose shutdowns, lockdowns, most any restrictions, and support the Great Barrington Declaration need to be asked how hospitals are expected to cope with the even greater onslaught of covid patients than now. I don't expect eating a bowl of chicken noodle soup would treat worse than mild cases.
Stillwater positive cases are well into the double digits every day. Hopefully, the long break for the holidays that OSU takes will bring the cases back down to single digit figures.
3,544 new cases today, by far the biggest Monday number. 7-day rolling average now 3,002, a new all-time high.
15 additional deaths; 7-day rolling average 15.9, an all-time high.
Hospitalizations/ICU won't be updated until this evening.
I really appreciate the admins for banning people who are just going to share disinformation. Informed disagreement is worthwhile, but there is just no benefit to disinformation. Honestly, limiting medical disinformation is just as important as mask mandates. I wish more platforms would take harder stances on disinformation. At this point, we need to understand how disinformation undermines democracy at every turn.
I very unfortunately can now say I know someone who has died from COVID. A high school classmate who I liked very much has been taken by this horrible virus.
I have been and will continue praying that the vaccines work and get out in the earliest estimates of timetables. I no longer have any faith in ordinary people to do anything about stopping the virus.
All the college students coming home that were backing campus bars and restaurants will just do the same in OKC / wherever they are from. The number of people I know personally that have contracted the virus has sky rocketed the past couple months and it doesn't appear to be getting better any time soon.
