Roof replacement has started. Part of the building has been re-decked,
materials and machinery on-site!

As far as I know, they are still trying to find office tenants.

Lots of work has been going on last couple weeks they rebuilt the arches and brick on the South entrance (13th St) They've replaced the concrete castings on the roof ends, and shingle replacement started this week. It will have a diamond pattern very similar to original.

New windows are going in. This is going to be incredibly sharp when complete.

This makes me incredibly happy to see! Between this and the Hotel Marion, this should serve to prove that almost no historic structure is beyond saving.

They are working away, it's just a long, slow process.

What a great rescue project! This is a shining example of what a decision to save a building and invest the money can do for a city's architectural landscape! I know it took more money and more time, but man, is it ever worth it. Wish more developers would operate like this one.

Now we will see if they can make money on it. Most developers don't have the cash to underwrite negative cash flow if the banks don't lend them on good terms for the project.
