The inside is so destroyed I can't imagine it can get any worse.
If and when they start redeveloping, I'm sure the entire insides will be gutted, more or less like the Marion.

Roof replacement has started. Part of the building has been re-decked,
materials and machinery on-site!
Pete have you spoken to the developer? Does he have any new information on the project?
As far as I know, they are still trying to find office tenants.
Lots of work has been going on last couple weeks they rebuilt the arches and brick on the South entrance (13th St) They've replaced the concrete castings on the roof ends, and shingle replacement started this week. It will have a diamond pattern very similar to original.

Looks amazing!
New roof almost complete. This is going to be beautiful when finished.

New windows are going in. This is going to be incredibly sharp when complete.

This makes me incredibly happy to see! Between this and the Hotel Marion, this should serve to prove that almost no historic structure is beyond saving.
Pete any signs of progress on this landmark? The pictures look relatively the same. Do you know what the owner is planning on doing with this special building?
They are working away, it's just a long, slow process.
Took these Saturday:

Nice! Roof looks great, and it's great to see blueprints for a usage plan. I wonder what they have in mind for tenants?
such a pretty building
What a great rescue project! This is a shining example of what a decision to save a building and invest the money can do for a city's architectural landscape! I know it took more money and more time, but man, is it ever worth it. Wish more developers would operate like this one.
