where are the numbers for today? Are they having to find a bigger calculator? They are probably trying to figure out Sun, Mon and Today totals.

Press conference with Stitt and some hospital CEOs at 2:30 today.

Wife said she saw on the news to not call 911 for maskholes, but to send a text to a number. Anybody know who that number belongs to? OKCPD, OCCHD, some random person's cell phone that they only check once daily, ....?

I know this isn't directly Oklahoma related, but when I see tweets like this -

    https://twitter.com/kingsthings/stat...57965643661315

Have questions about coronavirus or other health matters? Leave them below for Dr. Oz, who’ll join me for an interview Wednesday.
How many Americans are getting their medical advice from Dr. Oz while people like Larry King are elevating his platform. SMH.

To bring it back to Oklahoma, I've been watching the weekly City Council Meetings in Edmond, plus any special meetings, and the OKC Council Meeting from last Friday. I've heard lots of stuff repeated at these meetings that I've also heard from Dr. Oz and repeated on talk radio a lot. This is what the experts are competing with.

Did I mishear Stitt, or did he just say that positives have started to plateau?

He is a liar. He is gaslighting about medical capacity. Also, we don't even have accurate case counts for THREE FREAKING DAYS so there is no way for him to truthfully make such a claim. I am not one for conspiracy, but this is how those theories originate. We get three consecutive days of "date entry errors" and then suddenly the governor claims our cases are beginning to plateau. He is a bald-faced liar.

I cannot believe evangelicals fall for people like this.

1,714 new cases, 820 backlogged is what I read.

    What does that even mean?

So is that 1714 number corrected, or is today’s report 1714 minus 820?

The quote was "1714 with roughly half as back logged tests from Sunday and Monday"

It’s the “Action Line” number that is normally used for yard parking, excessive trash, street lights out etc.

Right, so "new" cases today is 894 with 820 from the past 2 days.

Does that mean 820 plus the numbers that were reported on Sunday and Monday? I would assume so or the numbers for those days were comparatively low.

So, completely worthless, then, thought so, thanks. I'll be calling 911 then.

I see some reporters talking and I hope they get to this in a story soon. Where are they getting more nurses for this pandemic surge plan? We were in a shortage already.

I'm fascinated that since Integris decided to open up Deaconess as Covid-19 unit after the state lost their lease option on June 30, and I think made deals with some of the other for-profit hospitals in town, they had no representative on this meeting today. Hmmm.
Also if I was CEO Chuck Spicer, I'd have to drink a gallon of Pepto to stomach playing nice with the governor after he gets continually screwed by Stitt, due to lack of Medicaid passage and underfunded trauma mandate.

Yeah. The few things I’ve called about over the years get looked into some time in the future and most are resolved with a message saying “Upon investigation no evidence of non-compliance was found”. One was from work about a light pole that was LAYING ON THE GROUND!!

They've clearly asked you not to call regarding the masks. Why do you insist on taking up an emergency line?

820 plus 168 Monday plus 209 Sunday 1,197 or avg 598 for Sunday, Monday then 894 today Seem Fair

If you believe complaints to the Action Line got Devon to fix the windows then I have a great used Yugo to sell to you.

Yeah, thanks, was going to post the same thing - no way the Action Line made Devon fix their windows...

Oh, and it wouldn't be to enforce a $9 fine (which is absolutely ridiculous - someone's just going to hand a $10 bill to a cop and say "Keep the change"), it would be to enforce non-compliance with a scientific solution that is proven to reduce coronavirus transmission.

They reported 1,714 new cases today.

Averaging the last 3 days, that's 697 new cases per day.

The last Tue/Mon/Sun average was 653 and before that it was 525.

So, the number of new cases is still rising.
