I wonder who drew the short straw to do the contact tracing on the governor?

Coronavirus hospital data will now be sent to Trump administration instead of CDC
https://www.cnn.com/2020/07/14/polit...cdc/index.html
Someone just posted on Reddit a photo of Stitt at the Walmart near Penn & Memorial from Saturday and of course, he's not wearing a mask.
Are hospitals in Oklahoma still allowing elective surgeries?
I realize your spin here but this article explains a little about the move.
While some former health officials worry the move could result in less transparent data, they acknowledged in interviews that the CDC’s data collection system is outdated and doesn’t meet the demands of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“The CDC’s old data gathering operation once worked well monitoring hospital information across the country, but it’s an inadequate system today,” HHS spokesman Michael Caputo said in a statement to CNBC. “The President’s Coronavirus Task Force has urged improvements for months, but they just cannot keep up with this pandemic.

And do you trust what an HHS spokesman says?

So for the past six months or so, I've had this chronic fatigue. I turn 40 later this year but there have been days that I can only shuffle across my house like I'm twice that. I actually mentioned to my wife that we might need to look into a cane last week. There's been a couple other things I thought may have been causing this - I was working 2 jobs and 80 hour weeks and I'm a Type 2 Diabetic on a Keto diet so the fatigue didn't seem too out of place.
But I quit the second job almost two months ago and recent labs are showing everything looks great ((the Keto diet has been amazing - I would love to talk about it if anyone has any questions! Solved so many problems for me.)) Despite that, I'm still having days where I feel like I could just turn into a statue - zero energy. Some days are fine - last week was a great example, felt wonderful the first of the week and thought I was maybe making progress then just completely zapped from Wednesday through the weekend. Had a followup appt today and the doc ordered an antibody test because apparently this could be a result of having had it.
What's also interesting is back around the start of the year, I had enough instances of nearly having panic attacks thinking I couldn't breathe that I mentioned it to the dr and he gave me some BS anxiety med for it. Oddly, it was mostly only when laying down and trying to sleep. It went away not too long after. I never had any other "sick" symptoms - that's one of the best parts of Keto/low carb - I don't even have headaches that much anymore. I do know a couple other people who got pretty sick earlier in the year but no one who has actually been officially diagnosed. We even had a friend's healthy mom get sick with a mysterious respiratory illness they couldn't figure out - she died within a week. This was all back before it really broke over here though so who knows.
Waiting on results. If this is some kind of side effect of having COVID, it sucks. A lot. I feel like I'm turning into Stephen Hawking.

According to one Ogle Mole, members of Stitt's cabinet / advisory council have also tested positive for Covid-19.
A restaurant in Tulsa has closed after he was there last week with no Mask.
This is bad this is very bad. You would think this would be a wake up call but it don't look that way. SMH
Along with meetings with his cabinet and being at Walmart this weekend he could have infected quite a few. He also (again) said that wearing a mask could have prevented him from getting it but he doesn't know and has no regrets. ....the mask stops you from giving it to others. Should have been wearing one at Walmart at the very least.
Nobody forget the massive funeral in Tulsa for the policeman. Thousands crowded into a megachurch, including the governor, without masks. That was six days ago!
When did he meet with Elon Musk? Wasn't that last week (without masks of course)?
There are pics of him side by side with the Lt. Governor on Monday without masks.
Doesn't he attend a megachurch in Jenks?
There is literally no telling how many people Stitt himself has infected with this virus.
And guess what, we are making national news again for something stupid. It's the way things are in Oklahoma.
I really hope Holt figures out that he needs to not only distance himself from the governor, but his party as well, and just lead. He can't even count on Bynum to make reasonable decisions. We need the mayor to take charge and if he does, he will come out looking good.
So why does Stittiot keep saying mask mandates are unenforceable? Aren't there dozens of states and municipalities (cities, villages, counties, parishes, whatever) in the USA that now *require* them? If so, how do they enforce them? Or do people/law enforcement just ignore them? He's an absolute buffoon if he is still toeing that particular line, especially since Norman, Stillwater, and soon OKC and maybe Tulsa have a mask mandate. And yes, I know that out in the country, the chances are way less, but all it takes is someone that's positive (like *him*) to stop at a restaurant (like Kai) on his way through a rural town/city/village and eat and talk without a mask and poof, the place and all the people in there at that time are possibly contaminated...
The biggest point he seemed to make today was different areas having different levels of infection so a mask mandate would be unnecessary in some areas. OK. So make a statewide mask mandate with the stipulation that municipalities can have lesser requirements. Instead of the other way around.
It would be trivial to write a mask mandate that applied to counties with X population and over, for instance. Or counties with X number of cases, as Texas did. Plenty of laws and orders do that already. He's just using that as an excuse because he doesn't want to do it.
Impact of data centralization is already being felt. One of the main aggregate dashboards has lost access to ICU totals (https://twitter.com/rypan/status/1283287152676139009)
We do our nightly update of covidexitstrategy.org and data for ICU/beds is now unavailable from @CDCgov.
nytimes.com/2020/07/14/us/…
A critical indicator is missing.
hhs.gov/sites/default/…
With @HHSGov as the only source, they need to aggregate this data and make it public.
WE ARE SCREWED. Should be start a new forum called we are screwed. 77 new hospital cases. Record now of 638. It was 561 yesterday right. We start increasing 50 or more a day it's going to get bad real fast.
