If I'd not paid attention and knew that they were encouraging folks to call 911, I don't think I would have felt comfortable calling in about it. I'd assume it was something to report to a city department.

On the plus side, net hospitalizations decreased by 5 https://twitter.com/kassiemcclung/st...433007616?s=21

That'll be a full time job calling in on people. Good luck with that.

Good question. And another feather in the people just don’t get it cap. If we were gonna to restaurants yet I would in a heartbeat.

I think “being a Karen” would have to include staying there while making a scene and turning your 911 call into a public spectacle.

If you see that they aren’t masked and don’t follow directions, leave for your own safety and call 911 from your car while driving away.

Regarding schools: there are also already a lot of folks saying that they won’t make their kids wear masks and if masks are required they won’t let their kids go to school.

So maybe if enough of those folks stick to their guns it will result in smaller class sizes for kids who wear masks.

WTF? You go in a restaurant, you see employees without masks, you call 911 and then walk out (or vice versa, as was just posted), it's not that hard. Oh yeah, you're part of the problem....

Some said report it to the Health Dept., but I'm not sure they have any enforcement power over mask wearing. Calling 911 and having a police presence there giving out warnings and fines will make people aware that this is serious sh*t real quick. Of course, it's only for OKC (and Norman and Stillwater, I guess), and people have said they knew that they could call 911, but won't.

Here's what you do. Stay home and get your food delivered. Keep calm my friend.

Texas and Florida both had 10,000 new cases today.

    U.S. set another 1-day record with 62,000.

Arizona and Louisana rapidly rising with cases per capita and will soon be at the very top of the list.

This is the bull**** I can't stand. The mask-wearers should stay home? Nah - the people that can't be bothered to care about anyone else by wearing a mask when inside should stay home.

If I have to enter a place—and I barely go anywhere right now—I just ask the employees, why won't you wear a mask to protect my health? Try to get an answer and let them know I'll go to businesses that care about my health. Maybe follow up and ask if they know about the mask ordinance (if one is in place). I don't make a scene and I'm not sure it makes sense to call 911 unless the situation is really dangerous.

Brian is on the record stating he believes Bill Gates is going to plant micro chips in us through the vaccine, so don’t really waste any time on interacting with someone so delusional, not worth it.

I appreciate the sentiment behind that, but isn't it too late for being nice now? It's kinda like Captain Sandy in Below Deck Med with her always trying to have her crew work things out amongst themselves instead of just firing someone (that's been her strategy multiple times since the show started). Sometimes it just is not going to work itself out because some people are just not going to get along with each other, ever, period, so one has to go. I'd assume that every restaurant/bar worker in OKC knows by now that they have to wear a mask, so if they're not, then call the police (as d-usa said, leave, call 911 while driving off, don't make a scene). Of course, that doesn't apply anywhere else because we have no other mask mandate in place.

That was trolling my friend. I figured you would've gotten that.

Given the tenor and lack of critical thinking in your other posts, I thought it was genuine.

There are so pissed of people in Norman. Wow I guess they would rather have things shut down again then. Would they be happier to be out of a job or to wear a mask? What i mean by that if things keep getting worse people are going to stop going out and businesses are going to be closing.

Vocal minority. If you look at the city council and mayor it shows that many people support this council. I would be very very surprised if they get a recall. 25% signature of each ward is near impossible.

Some in TULSA think the surge is connected to the rally.

OKC increases with the Tulsa tallies definitely point to the protest

Not according to the paid contact tracers and the OKC City County Health Department. They affirmed this week that the spread is occurring from the following: Bars, Weddings, Gymns, Funerals, Church Activities, Family Gatherings and Other Small Gatherings.

Notably, both the mayor and the director of the OCCHD both stated that protests were not a cause of the current spike.

Makes sense since the protests happened outside and most of the participants wore masks.

Apparently, cases can not be traced to the Trump Rally in Tulsa?
