During that time it is normal and healthy to be exposed and the young body to build protection against those things for later life. However, any rational medical person advises vaccinations against things like tuberculosis, polio, small pox, measles, etc. Things of those nature will cause permanent and lasting damage on young kids and others, so you don't want them unprotected. Purposefully allowing or causing a population to be exposed or unprotected from a virus that we have seen be highly threatening, and one which we are just now figuring out the ramification of exposure on various populations segments, is reckless and potentially very dangerous. The idea of purposefully trying to create herd immunity is also reckless and potentially dangerous. The willingness to sacrifice whole segments of our population by those who think they are immune from the disease itself is pretty narcissistic, in my opinion.

I think a society's ethos includes who it chooses to protect. The sacrificing of large numbers of weak, compromised, or aged population when there are alternatives seems to me to be very un-Christian and against the very ideals of the America we tell the world we are. We just need to live up to what we preach.
    Well said!

Judy Mikovits was the subject of that conspiracy theory Plannedemic "documentary" and has absolutely 0 credibility, as she's an anti-vaxxer among other things. Not even worth listening to.

Anyways, here are the updates for today, courtesy of https://twitter.com/KassieMcClung/st...4252712661004:

Oklahoma's daily #COVID19 numbers via the Oklahoma State Department of Health.

    - 10,037 cases (+331 )
    - 368 reported deaths (+1)
    - 197 hospitalizations (confirmed & suspected, as of 6/19)
    - 4% overall positive rate (as of 6/18)

    New high for 7-day avg.

Great day to hold a massive indoor rally

Why do you keep spreading health misinformation? You've been doing it on this site for months. It's irresponsible and can result in people suffering. Please be more responsible.

As others pointed out, this conspiracy theory garbage.

Can somebody confirm if that’s Tulsa’s skyline on the previous post. I’m not as familiar with the downtown area up there.

And KFOR just reported that 6 staffers setting up the rally have tested positive. This rally could be the most STUPID thing I have seen in my 61 years.

How many have left the Hospital in this time cause numbers haven't really gone up for total number of people currently in hospital.

Since my antibodies test was high enough that the Ok Dept Of Health asked me to donate plasma I thought I’d tell my employees, that I had been near in March when I think I had it, that I had COVID back then. Oh my gosh!! I have more insight now into why this stuff is spreading. 90% of my employees were somewhere between:

    It’s all completely made up.

Bill Gates and Dr Fauci created it to promote their agendas so there’s way more positives reported than there really are.

Hospitals get more funding with more cases reported so there’s way more positives reported than there really are.

You probably didn’t have it. You had a flu shot and that results in a positive COVID result.

OMG!!! The stuff people believe except for this thing being real and serious!!

It people like Mikovits who are quite irresponsible, along with people who interview her who do little to nothing to challenge her off the wall points.

Building heard immunity. I really think that's the only way we are going to get through this.

While I don’t think we’re close to herd immunity I do wonder how many people have had it an don’t know. At 61 years old and not in great shape I apparently had it with VERY minor symptoms. And my wife had pretty much exactly the same symptoms a week after I did. She hasn’t been tested for antibodies but........? We were both working the whole time. How many people could we have transmitted it to. And so on and so on and so on.

How many people are going to post about herd immunity who don't understand how herd immunity works? Getting to herd immunity is pretty much the definition of *not* getting through this successfully. Aside from the estimated massive amount of sickness and death that would require, we don't even know who gets immunity and for how long. Some new studies suggest that the 35% who are asymptomatic may only have immunity for a short time.

No epidemiologist recommends this strategy. I think we should defer to their expertise here.

Bill, do you mind me asking what you and your wife’s symptoms were?. My wife and I both think we may have had it early on, back in December-January. For the past several weeks I’ve be experiencing a dry cough, congestion and runny nose. I’ve been doing a lot of yard work for for various folks, plus we had half of the Texas panhandle floating around in the air over the past week or so, so i figured it was just allergies. I’ve had no headaches, fever, heavy chest or run down feeling.

My brother experienced the same things, so he went and got tested for anibodies. Attached is a copy of the paper he received, which is very vague.

Here’s what I posted a few days ago.
About mid March I had a bit of a sore throat, a degree or so of fever and just generally felt like crap for a week or so. And ever since then off and onI feel like someone is pushing on my chest trying to keep me from breathing. But not seriously enough that I ever worried about it. I did kind of wonder though.
One thing I forgot to add was I had the runs the first couple of days. My wife didn’t. It wasn’t listed as a symptom then but was later. And today is one of the not so good days for after effects. I feel like there’s a pressure on my chest and it feels odd to breathe. Not quite a burning sensation but something close. And I feel warm but am not running a fever.

Their expertise is like throwing darts. One minute do this and the next do this. They just don't know and that's pretty much been proven. If enough people get this then the virus will lose it's steam like viruses in the past.
