I love really creamy coleslaw. But I pretty much only eat it with fried catfish and occasionally with BBQ. I can't stand the crunchy less creamy stuff. I seem to enjoy it most from KFC, Charlestons and Grill on the Hill.
Don't usually eat it except with BBQ, but Jack's BBQ on 39th has some really good garlic slaw (supposedly "famous").
I really like KFC's and Long John Silver's.
I always prefered the slaw that was served at HERMAN'S. Vinegar based, no mayo.
Grandy's Cole Slaw.
Kamps meat market on N Western is my favorite.
Hefner Grill on the lake. Best I've ever had from a restaurant.
Jersey Boss,
You're showing your age, I think they closed in the 70's.

Thanks for the suggestions! I bought Herman's at UpTown today and really liked it. It was a nice change of pace from a more creamy-based slaw. Appreciate you all for weighing-in!
Cole Slaw might be my number 1 food for the GIF where it says "How to best prepare/eat ______ food" and then you just open up the trash can and throw it away.
