Beach Fossils and Why Bonnie are both excellent bands.

Are these local bands? Just like Rocklahoma, why are all these music festivals have bands most of us has never heard of? Spotlighting local talent I think is great.

The headliners at NMF are usually national bands (Beach Fossils are from NYC, and Why Bonnie is from Austin) but there will be a whole lot of great local bands there as well, they just usually don't announce those until later. LCG & The X, for example, is an excellent OKC garage rock band, probably my favorite of the local bands that have been announced so far.
