Uptown Theater is the old name; they are calling the development 1212 N. Hudson and the market in the old theater will be Hudson Street Market.

Don't live here anymore so haven't tried the beer, but I follow them on social media and they seem like they really have it together + their products look pretty unique/creative (Magic Juice, The Ocho...). This is going to be a really nice business to have in midtown. Sky is the limit for these folks!

I noticed they took down the fence between the Harvey Lofts and apartments and Hudson Market / Elk valley. Any idea if they are replacing it with a nicer fence?

Talked to John Elkins last week. He said they are shooting to be brewing in the new location by later this month and open the taproom by mid October.

I've heard more like December or January but that's like 8th hand information so don't update your calendars.

Talked to the Elk Valley guys last night at Zoo Brew and they said November at the earliest.

The priority is to get their equipment up and running so they brew beer and fill demand, and that will actually set them back on the taproom, which is a 2nd priority.

I believe they have been working out of the Brewer's Union and just don't have enough capacity.

Yes, the brewery has a balcony. It has a great view. It’s just been too cold to use much, but it was open when I stopped by.
