I had heard about this place and was intrigued, but your comments about it didn't make me want to run out and get some. Kind of place I might stop in if I'm in the area, but wouldn't make a special trip, at least, that's how your take made me feel. I'm appreciative of the info, though!
I saw someone making this kind of ice cream on a youtube video, I think, and it looked interesting. I'm sure I'll stop by and try it, at some point. The Cold Stone type of place never did much for me, to be honest. I'm more of a fan of Freddy's and Braum's than I am of someone mashing a bunch of stuff into my ice cream and charging a premium for it.
My family stopped by the one in midwest city on monday. The stench in the place was unbearable so we never even made it to the counter (had a very bad sewage or decomposing smell). From what I did see, it was not very well put together or clean, Probably will not give it another try and stick to orangeleaf and braums from now.
For comparison's sake, here's the Tulsa World's review of the Tulsa location from September of last year: http://www.tulsaworld.com/scene/rest...70b2a4a09.html
