    f&cking awesome!

BTW, Austin is apparently getting a Trump Hotel. Very impressive. I have been to Austin, but I haven't explored the city as much I should have. That will change soon though and I can't wait.

I for one enjoy the updates from other regional cities like Austin, Houston and Omaha. I try and provide occasional updates for Tulsa and Denver. Wish we could have similar threads for Kansas City and St Louis.

I like seeing what's going on in other cities; especially cities of the plains as well. Is there even anything really happening in St Louis? It's continuing to experience a steady population decline. They're well under half the size they used to be. KC MO is on the up and up.

As much as I dislike St. Louis, there are some really impressive things happening there. They just started on an amazing 40+story or so residential skyscraper with architecture that you'd expect from NYC or Seattle. They are continuing attracting high tech like billion dollar Microsoft facilities and Alton_a suburb) has a slew of mid to high-rise buildings proposed or U/C.

Upvote for the other cities posts. One, it's what this thread is FOR, and clearly reflected in the title. If someone doesn't want to read about Austin, that person simply doesn't need to enter the thread. However, I think the vast majority here understand the value in being aware of our surroundings. Please, feel more than free to post.

The last few posts make it seem like someone has complained about dedicated threads with updates from other cities..? I hadn’t seen that, but if so I’ll add my vote as someone who occasionally likes to check those threads and see what’s happening elsewhere.

It looks like the posts were deleted but yes there was a post that was complaining about this thread and the Houston thread because this is OKCTalk. I am not sure why.
