I drove down Classen on Tuesday and noticed new construction going up and it looks like this was it. It looked like they were about 50% completed, so August isn't too far of a reach. I think $204/sf is a bit of a stretch, but whatever.

These look like crap, imo, and what’s up with the huge driveway? What a weird layout. Trying to be creative I guess but damn just stick the buildings up to the sidewalk and run the driveways through and alleyway. These are supposed to be urban living units? The layout is very suburban.

My guess is for parking. Note, the garages are 2-car garages, but they are stacked, so you have to remove one car at a time. Pretty weird.

In the parlance of Southern California real estate, that is 'tandem parking' -- one car behind the other. (BTW, 'ocean peak' means you can see a tiny sliver of water through a maze of buildings and utility lines if you climb on the roof and hang off an eave!).

These are about $200 / SF with very nice finishes, running about $250,000 to $290,000.
