Brett Dawson's column in today's Oklahoman (07-19-2017) reports:

Excerpts in summary, Nike replaced adidas as the provider of NBA uniforms & apparel:

12-Navy blue, 4-White sleeves* & the 9-Sunset (orange) Thunder jerseys will be retired.

Home team will pick the apparel to wear--league will eliminate home & road distinctions.

Four new uniforms will be rolled out for each team--called 'editions.'

Thunder expects to unveil the uniforms sometime next week.

It's unclear what colors or designs will appear on the Thunder's new alternate uniforms.

New jerseys will be available for purchase in October.

Eight teams will be allowed 'classic' editions, some of which are the league's most iconic.

During the season, Nike will unveil two new uniform sets.

*Nike is not producing sleeve jerseys.

Westbrook will have a field day in these...

Hmmm... Not so much a fan of the black but I like the rest of them... I really liked the original sunset orange uniforms so glad to see the new version of it.... Anyone know if it will still be their Sunday uniform?

I saw those posted somewhere too but no way are they legit. Not one of them has an actual Thunder logo, and one of them even has an altered Seattle Supersonics logo.

Those would be hideous, way to busy. Let's see what Nike can actually do with them.

I believe OKC is the only franchise not to have a sponsor on their jerseys next season as well.

The major team sports in the US are part of the very very small number of professional teams not wearing sponsors. And the NBA sponsor patches are all pretty small compared to the other teams worldwide that have jersey sponsors. And it's not like the US is opposed to sponsors. People competing in motor sports are covered from heat to toe in names and logos.

I get why people who are not used to jersey sponsors might not be a big fan,. But I also find it interesting that people are okay with heading down to the Chesapeake Energy Arena, buying their Budweiser beer, head to their seats in Love's Loud City, see if the Midfirst Bank Halftime Shot contestant wins some money, spend a couple hours looking at the names of sponsors circling around the electronic boards, but then draw the line at a small patch on the jersey.

This link pretty clearly states they are fan creations:

I really hope we get an update. I'm over our minor league look and logo. I really don't buy much merch cause I'm not a fan of our branding.

That's not correct. Only 9 out of 30 franchises have a sponsor for next season.

Just to clarify for those that didn't read Brett Dawson's article that Laramie posted. OKC *is* getting new options for next year as each team will have four jerseys. OKC may keep modified versions of their home and aways, but there will be two new designs also. All the other alternates, including the orange jersey, appear to be gone. Also, home teams get to choose any jerseys they want to wear and the opposing teams have to contrast to them. So, we may see the blue Oklahoma City jerseys in the Peake next season some.

It's not just the design that is changing. The Nike jerseys have a more advanced 'wick' factor for cooling. IIRC they also are made with recycled products.

Oklahoma City Thunder Culture: Our fans, facilities & future...

SELLOUTS: 297 consecutive sellouts which began with the arena reconfiguration in 2010.

MAPS for Hoops (MAPS II extension) was passed by a 62% to 38% margin, it extended a prior one-cent sales tax for a period of 15 months in order to fund $121 million in budgeted improvements to the arena, as well as fund a separate practice facility for a relocated franchise.

Proposition #7 (Downtown Arena) part of a 10-year, $967 million bond package to invest in streets, police & fire facilities, parks and other basic needs passed on September 12 for $8,865,000 in arena designed upgrades will enhance the facility's technological & cyber needs.

Oklahoma City is attractive to free agents. Westbrook has committed himself to the Oklahoma City Thunder for the long haul. He’s agreed to sign a five-year, $205 million designated player contract extension, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. It’s the richest contract in NBA history. OKC picked up Paul George & Carmelo Anthony to strengthen the Thunder's roster.

No offense; but some of these uniforms are 'Dog pound ugly."

Absolutely love the Statement, jerseys these are terrible. OKC has such a bad logo, it’s not a great idea to build a jersey around it. Here’s a ranking of all the City jerseys with OKC predictably coming in last: https://t.co/75Lm8kL8O5

That article basically ranks them how I would. I love Sacramento and Atlanta's entire branding. And of course the Warriors get a cool looking city jersey.

    Thunder Re: National Basketball Association

It's not the design since the Thunder logo isn't what's visible; it's more about the funeral coffin gray/gray.

    These aren't so bad:

    I don't understand how the 76ers weren't #1. Those jerseys are incredible.

I think Miami has the best city jersey. I don't understand why the Thunder organization has to be so boring. I mean we have never incorporated lightning into a single design aspect. Like WTF is that.

Well, that’s why people have different fashion tastes, I guess. I thought Orlando’s were the only ones maybe worse than OKC’s. To each their own.

I generally agree with the list too. I might rank Miami’s #1. I appreciate the bold Jazz design a bit more than the article.
