While this is getting pretty far north on Classen, it's 2 blocks away from the most Urban segment of Western Avenue north of the River.

This will surely be built to suburban standards and represents the exact reason why OKC needs to extend the Urban development guidelines all the way to NW Expressway if we want to see Classen become more multi-modal. If the guidelines were already in place, then this would be the first of many developments to come where we begin working on the infrastructure of Classen to become something special.

This is not meant as an attack on the developer, just painting reality. They will build something that fits in with the surrounding fabric, and so you can't really blame them. The transformation has to take place at the behest of the city. There are too many opportunities for this to go the right direction and change the face of Classen.
