Regarding Park Place, Midtown Renaissance doesn't want to close that street, they want to make it one-way with angled street parking. The graphic a the top of the page has been corrected to reflect that.

I'm sure they want to try and create as much parking as possible around Fassler Hall / Dust Bowl which is just to the south.
