I lived in Daytona several years ago and the area around the track has changed so much since they have started showing the races on FOX and NBC. The area near the airport makes the best sense. There are thousands of corprate executives, drivers, and television staff that fly to tracks for race day or practice. In fact, the best thing to do would be to have aircraft parking right outside the track.
