In an odd little development, William Shatner abruptly shut down his Twitter account today.

I was among his Twitter followers, and found that he was actually a pretty funny and refreshing celebrity presence on Twitter - more than willing to toss out a silly joke, sometimes at his own expense. For whatever reason, though, he dumped it.

Just a little social media curiosity to occupy the day.
