His signature is worth up to 75 counts of manslaughter (the capacity of the airplane he works on) if his actions were found to be negligent and result in the failure of a system that results in a crash or loss of life. In Europe some mechanics work 40 hour days and have a week off between days. 1 on and 6 off.
