The Hornets will play 35 home games in Oklahoma City during the 2006-07 season as part of a deal NBA Commissioner David Stern announced today. The deal did not include an agreement for the 2007-08 season, though Hornets owner George Shinn said it was still his team’s “goal to return to New Orleans.”

However, Shinn said a third season in Oklahoma City is a possibility.
