The projects for Tulsa’s next 3rd penny capital improvements plan is before the council now, public vote is likely in April. The list is a total of $437 million in projects.

When: Mayor Bill LaFortune wants to put it before voters April 4.

What it contains:
$63,916,000 for public safety and protection.

$42,710,000 for cultural development and recreation.

$13,000,000 for downtown, economic and neighborhood development.

$185,440,000 for public works and transportation.

$58,035,000 for administration and support.

$71,275,000 in leftover projects from the 2001 extension.

$2,624,000 in advance bond funding costs.

Major projects:

$19 million for the Zink Lake Riverfront Development, 16 million for a new Tulsa
Police Department laboratory and property room,

$22 million for improvements on Yale Avenue between 81st and 91st streets, and

11 million for public facilities maintenance
